What is included in the price?
- Supply and extract filter replacement
- Heat exchanger removal and clean
- Fan and impeller clean
- Condensate drain and trap check
- Airflow measurement against design rates
- Control, boost and bypass test
- Written report with photos
What can change the cost?
- Unusual or hard-to-source filter sizes
- Difficult access, such as a loft with no boarding or a unit above a fixed ceiling
- Systems that need a full airflow rebalance
- Repairs found during the service (always quoted before work starts)
- The number of units serviced in one visit
Is a cheaper filter-only visit enough?
A filter swap is better than nothing, but it does not clean the heat exchanger or fans, clear the condensate drain or measure airflow. Those are the things that determine whether the system is actually ventilating your home.
